Argentinean officials are hoping to collaborate more closely with China, particularly on issues including tourism, energy and support for small and medium-sized enterprises. To promote Chinese tourism in Argentina, Buenos Aires recently lifted visa requirements for tourists who already have visas for the US or EU. These individuals now only have to fill out an online form. Argentina has agreed to work closely with China on a number of nuclear and solar energy projects. Following a recent discussion between the two parties, it was announced that China will finance two nuclear plants and three solar plants in Jujuy, Argentina.
