Ascott Expands in China

Leading international serviced residence owner-operator Ascott plans to expand more rapidly in China. The company is far ahead of schedule and will manage 20,000 serviced apartments this year. “China is ahead of the rest of the world in various fields including artificial intelligence, unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic payments and so on. Thanks to this rapidly developing environment, we were able to achieve our goal ahead of schedule,” states Ascott China Managing Director Tan Tze Shang. Looking forward, Ascott plans to accelerate its business development in China’s first- and second-tier cities such as Wuhan and Hangzhou.
