China Flexible Employment

Due to various new occupations, employment in China is increasingly flexible. A survey conducted by China Youth Daily found that 58.7% of respondents would be willing to choose a new occupation, whether that be a blogger, drone trainer, or anything in between. Further, 71.8% of the respondents believe new occupations will completely change China’s employment structure. “People are more interested in living a free life as the economy grows, so it is inevitable to have new occupations,” states Jiang Jianrong of Nankai University.
