Entrepreneurship Competition Begins

The China-Britain Entrepreneurship Competition, an initiative that supports and encourages new business ventures between China and Britain, was recently launched in Newcastle. This is the competition’s tenth year and is widely supported by governments, universities and businesses in both countries. According to Councilor Ged Bell, Brexit has not impacted Northeast England’s openness to Chinese investors and businesses. George Marston, Northumbria University Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation, states “Partnerships, whether they are with the EU or China, are incredibly important.”
