G20 Meeting Action Plan

At the G20 meeting in Hamburg, an Action Plan was created to outline objectives looking forward. The 13-page document noted the various steps being taken by the member countries in areas such as monetary policy and investment, and how “Weak productivity growth, income inequality and aging populations represent challenges to growth in the longer term.” China, for example, said it would strive to improve its business environment for foreign companies. In terms of taxation, the member countries will continue to work to promote a globally fair and modern tax system and will welcome international cooperation on new tax policies.
