Grammy’s Eager for China Breakthrough

The Grammy’s are looking to have a presence in China, but will not be able to bring along all the most popular celebrities due to Chinese censorship requirements. Due to its massive consumer base, China is an attractive market for Hollywood studios and theme park operators, though entry is often more difficult than many anticipate. The Recording Academy, which runs The Grammys, vowed to respect China’s media requirements and hopes to launch a tour in China in 2018 featuring its award-winning artists. “We will promote artists with a positive and healthy image,” states Bravo Entertainment Chief Executive of Music Events Steven Fock.
