Longchamp Opens China Stores

Longchamp, a French luxury leather goods company, plans to open more stores in China to capitalize on the country’s huge growth potential. Longchamp currently has 18 stores in China, but there remain many key locations where the company is not yet present. Longchamp CEO Jean Cassegrain notes how the Chinese economy is growing at a rapid pace and how more people in the country are buying luxury products. Longchamp will open a new store at the at a landmark shopping mall on Wangfujing Street in Beijing in October and is considering opening stores in second-tier cities such as Changsha.
