Didi Chuxing Eyes Latin America

Chinese ride-hailing company Didi Chuxing is eager to break into the Latin American market. “Latin America is today one of the most important markets given its population of 600 million people,” states Didi Vice President of International Business Gu Tao. He believes Latin America is a highly relevant market for Chinese companies and hopes that Didi can provide citizens with comparable services that Chinese people are given. Didi is striving to expand its operations to other areas of the world to become less reliant on the Chinese ride-hailing market.
