JD.com-Walmart Strategic Partnership

JD.com and Walmart Inc. have announced plans to expand their strategic partnership to further integrate their platforms, supply chains and customer resources in China. The two parties will continue to share resources in areas relating to customers, stores and inventory to expand their online and offline stores. “Our ability to tap into JD’s advantages across logistics, big data, technology and customer services, gives Walmart a huge advantage in reaching China’s rapidly expanding consumer class,” states Walmart China e-commerce and technology Vice President Ben Hassing.
